Filmed on 16/07/2024. So, after taking some time away from the hobby for work and social commitments, it is time to get back into the swing of things and head back onto the tracks. For this day, we will be visiting 2 of Scotland Seven Cities. Starting with Edinburgh and its main terminus station of the East Coast Mainline of Edinburgh Waverley (Season 11 Episode 13) LNER are currently on crew training between Edinburgh Waverley and Glasgow Central using one of their Azuma's. In the recent news, Lumo Trains are planning to extend their services between London Kings Cross through to Glasgow Central via Edinburgh Waverley. Services along the East Coast Mainline has been impacted severely on this day. Sadly, due to a person hit by a train. All thoughts and prayers for all those involved. ScotRail HST sets are being extended from 4 to 5 carriages to link between all 7 Scotland Seven Cities. Quite a few of them around are the ScotRail Hitachi class 385's which are running in 3/4 carriage formation and are now operating and majority of Scotland services in Edinburgh/Glasgow areas. Running a revised service is the Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street ScotRail Express services to every 30 minutes.
