Edgar Allan Poe : Manuscrit trouvé dans une bouteille (1833). Livre audio de Tindalos

This text, awarded a prize by the Baltimore Saturday Visiter in a writing competition, was first published on October 19, 1833, in the same newspaper (despite Poe's own note, which mentions 1831). As in all self-respecting fantasy literature, the narrator presents a reasonable face, here shaped by German philosophy. A triumph of pragmatism, conscience, and objective analysis of facts… which will crumble with the rest of the story. Of course, we guess—we relish guessing—the nature of this ship speeding along the crest of cyclopean waves. Of course, we imagine a tragic fate looming. Could it be otherwise, given the title? But the pleasure never wanes; quite the contrary. We follow the narrator, and Poe through him, in these many twists and turns that slowly lead us from reality to the most unbridled imagination. ------- Related bonus video:    • Bonus E. A. Poe : Manuscrit trouvé dans un...   ------- Reading, Illustration, and Music by Tindalos ------- Next video: Morella ------- Want to get your own Tindalos illustration? https://www.tindaloslechien.com/boutique ------- #poe #audiobook #music #illustration ------- Because Tindalos, Is all of the following: A 100% natural human voice, It's the guarantee of 100% hand-drawn illustrations, It's the assurance of hearing 100% original music composed and performed, Don't hesitate to support this 100% organic audiobook ^^...
