Stonehenge Origins | Exploring West Woods and the Genesis of the Sarsen Stones | Megalithomania

Join us on Patreon:   / megalithomania  . Recently it was revealed that the origin point of most of the sarsen stones of Stonehenge was in a different place to once thought. Rather than Fyfield down, it is in fact West Woods near Marlborough in Wiltshire, including some on private land that we were granted access to. A Neolithic long barrow and standing stone are visited, as well as numerous sarsen locations. Hugh Newman, Nicholas Cope and Andrew Collins investigate the site, find the locations of the stones and reveal deeper mysteries of these supernatural woods. Orbs, strange lights and other paranormal activity has been recorded here for thousands of years and the area may have been seen as sacred by the megalith builders. This may be partly because it is constructed over magnetic fault lines.
