⚓️Decibel Record SHATTERED by Ship James R. Barker as it departs Duluth, MN

I have been documenting numerous vessels arriving/departing Duluth using a decibel meter to determine which ship has the loudest horn/whistle on Lake Superior. There has been speculation for years that the 1004 foot ship James R. Barker has the loudest horn/whistle on the Great Lakes, and that theory is now confirmed! This video shows the James R. Barker breaking the decibel record with a whopping 123.1 decibel reading as it passes under the Aerial Lift Bridge heading onto Lake Superior. There is NO DOUBT now that this ship has the most powerful and loudest whistle/horn out there! By the way, if the new decibel record wasn't cool enough, it was done with a master salute!
