The Most Important Concepts for Youth Basketball Players and Coaches
With the amount of youth basketball that is being played all over the world, it's never been more important for young athletes to learn the foundational concepts of the game, so they develop their basketball iQ along with their physical skill. I have used this concept of "The Gap Theory" to explain how basketball works at every level, and in this video you get to see the same concepts that I've broken down while highlighting the NBA, Euroleague, and the NCAA work the exact same in youth basketball. The Gap Theory is valuable because it works in every situation, and applies to every context of basketball. This will hopefully be a guide to help youth coaches develop a plan to develop their team, and for young players to start understanding the most critical parts of the game that don't change. For information on my coaching philosophy The Gap Theory check out my playlist dedicated to breaking it down, and my book that teaches it from a foundational level. 💻 • The Gap Theory 📘https://www.austinmcbeth.com/the-gap-...
