10. Seyda Hazretlerinin Menkıbeleri ve Kerametleri 5 - Seyyid Muhammed Raşid EROL (k.s.)

Hazrat Seyda (k.s) was visiting him one day after he had finished the Hatme-i Hacegan in front of the mosque. At that moment, a person who was understood to be a foreigner with a backpack approached, visited him, smiled and said: ''Welcome''. We did not understand what the foreigner said, when someone translated, he said that he had come to visit Nemrut and that he would go there tomorrow, Hazrat Seyda (k.s) said to come here again on his return, and he promised. He returned three days later. When he saw Hazrat Seyda, he went to him and said: ''I promise you''. He smiled and said: ''Welcome, we will go and pray. There is no prayer for you, you do not come to the mosque, you stay here.'' We performed the afternoon prayer, did our hatm and went out. The foreigner said: ''Islam is different'' and ran to the door and entered the mosque. He cried in front of Seyda Hazrat (k.s) and recited the Shahada through an interpreter and became a Muslim. He stayed in the village for a week, learned Islam, received a representative authority and returned to England. One day, they brought a madrasah student who was speechless. He traveled continuously for 7-8 days. At one point, a bus had arrived. This person also started watching the driver and suddenly came to the driver. He said, ''Stop, don't go.'' He said some other words. His father was very happy when he heard it. He said, ''They told us to come here as a last resort. Thank God, my son's tongue has become open.'' We had gone to Diyarbakır from the village of Ghadir with Seyda Hazrat (k.s) to do some shopping. It was Friday. We performed our Friday prayer in the mosque. At one point, I had completely lost Seyda Hazrat (k.s). When the prayer was over, I looked and saw two rows in front of me. When I said you were not here, he said I was here, I said I couldn't see you here. The next day we set off towards the village by truck. The car broke down on the way. The driver went to Kozluk for spare parts. We waited under a bridge. At one point a pickup truck came and its tire burst 1-2 meters before the bridge. When I told Hazrat Seyda (k.s) about the incident, he got out from under the bridge. We met the people in the pickup truck. They were the children of Sheikh Seyda-i Ceziri (k.s). One of them was Sheikh Nurullah Ceziri (k.s). They sat with Hazrat Seyda and chatted. They joked to each other saying, “You broke my car, no, you flattened my car’s tire.” After the cars were repaired, we returned to the village of Ghadir and they went to Hazrat Veysel Karani. I had a problem with my foot. I told Hazrat Seyda (k.s) and he told me to go to Diyarbakır. I tried to take care of it where I was. I took medicine, I went to herbalists, no matter what I did, it didn't get better. Finally, I went to Diyarbakır and my illness got better. A pilgrim came to Hazrat Gavs and said, ''Sir, I saw the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) in my dream and he looked very similar to your son (Hz. Seyda).'' Hazrat Seyda (k.s) accepted us under difficult conditions while we were in Gökçeada. I was working in a company with an unsuitable environment. An offer came from a conservative company. I told Mubarak, I explained how the work would be. They asked: Who will keep the accounts? Will a guarantee be requested? When I said we would work based on trust, he said, ''There is no honest merchant in our time, they all say we lost.'' I said I know. Mubarak said, ''Don't go to that company, you will be devastated.'' He said these words in 1984. I didn't go either. Later, in 1989-1990, another company operating with Islamic methods was established, I went to Mubarak to get permission, I told him that his working hours were heavy and that he was doing business. He said, ''Work where there are no women, business is easy.'' I transferred to that company, I had no difficulty in the job, I could handle the work of hundreds of people on my own. In the meantime, all the entrepreneurs in this company established on the basis of profit and loss sharing declared losses. There were also those known to have very strong Islamic aspects among them. I understood what Mubarak said 10 years later. This was his first miracle. The second was that I was successful in even the most complicated jobs with the blessing of his prayers. It was the time when Seyda Hazrat (k.s) came to Ankara. Thousands of people were gathered where he was and were repenting. When my turn came, I held his hand, started repenting, then when I raised my head and looked, I was astonished. There was only a pure white image in that person's place. When I looked again after repentance, I saw it as it was before.
