11. Seyda Hazretlerinin Menkıbeleri ve Kerametleri 6 - Seyyid Muhammed Raşid EROL (k.s.)

I had gone to visit Hazrat Seyda (k.s) with my female friends. While the ladies were sitting up at night, my friend called me to the window. The sight I saw was extraordinary: a ring of light as thick as a body above the mosque, surrounding the mosque, and a full moon in the sky right in the middle of the ring. This sight that everyone saw lasted for an hour and suddenly disappeared when the blessed person left the mosque. * They gave a 5-6 year old child to Hazrat Seyda’s lap. The child, pale, weak, with his tongue hanging out, was probably paralyzed. The blessed person said something to the child and smiled. After a while, he handed the child to those around him. Everyone was surprised. The child had come to life. He was moving his arms and hands. The relatives were passing the child to each other and did not know what to do with their joy. * I was returning home alone at midnight. There was a mosque on my way and 6-7 graves in its courtyard. I saw a corpse lying in a pure white shroud right at the bottom of the grave in the middle. I was very scared and shivered, and I walked quickly towards the house. I was affected by this incident for a long time. Later, I learned that this was the discovery of graves with the help and blessing of Hazrat Seyda. * It was night when we were returning from visiting Hazrat Seyda. I started to doze off for a while. I suddenly opened my eyes and saw that the car was heading towards a cliff and our driver was sleeping. Suddenly I saw Hazrat Seyda on one side of the car and Hazrat Gavs on the other. They grabbed the car and left it on the road properly and disappeared. The friends who woke up with the shaking could not understand what had happened. With the help of great people, we had definitely escaped an accident. * Hazrat Seyda (k.s) mentioned Molla Sadreddin Yüksel while talking about the Hodjas in Istanbul. When I said that they said he was a very high scholar, he said: ''Yes, he studied at Hazrat's lodge and was a close son-in-law to Hazrat Sheikh Mashuk (k.s), he is a very high scholar, you should visit him too.'' When I returned to Istanbul, I went to visit Molla Sadreddin Hodjaefendi. During the conversation: I said, Sir, there are very high scholars in the world, and also perfect guides. The goodwill and congregation are more in the latter, what is the wisdom of this? I asked. In response: I am a famous scholar, if I went to Beyazıt Square today, I could hardly gather fifty people behind me. But if your sheikh, Seyyid Muhammed Rashid (k.s), Hazrat, went from one town to another, 20-30 thousand people would gather around him. The reason for this is that in reality, the guide is Allah (swt), guidance is in His hands. He also said to Hz. Muhammed (s.a.w.), "O my beloved, you cannot guide whomever you want." Therefore, the owner of guidance is Allah (swt), only if Allah Almighty loves a servant, He gives him help and favor from guidance. Whoever Allah gives guidance to, he becomes the owner of guidance. What can we do, in this century, Allah (swt) has placed guidance in the hands of your sheikh, the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), this is the secret of this, he explained. * A group of us were going from Siirt to Bitlis as an official. We parked our cars on the side of the road and entered the village of Kasrik to visit Hazrat Gavs. We came across Hazrat Seyyid Muhammed Rashid (k.s) at the edge of the pool where ablution is performed. After showing politeness, greetings and respect, we asked Hazrat Gavs (k.s). He said he was going to the Yayla. When we asked where the Yayla was, they pointed to the mountains behind Kasrik and said; it is at the top of the mountains. With the pain and sadness of not being able to see Hazrat Gavs, we said, "We are on duty, we have cars downstairs, if you allow us, let's go." Hazrat Seyda said, "Let's give you something to eat and drink, then you can go." We had to wait. One hour, two hours, then two and a half hours passed. They presented a meal of finely chopped zucchini and cracked eggs on top. While I was wondering what the secret of waiting so long was, even though this meal was cooked quickly, suddenly voices were raised: Hazrat Gavs is coming! Hazrat Gavs is coming! We left the meal half-done, ran outside, and indeed Hazrat Gavs was riding a mule and coming down from the mountain with one or two Sufis. We visited him happily, they said, you go to the mosque, I am coming. We went to the mosque. A bespectacled Sufi named Abdulcelil, a shoemaker pulling the mule, said: ''Who are these Sufis coming? Our Gavs was having a feast on the plateau, so they had slaughtered a goat, they left the food and said that there were guests waiting for us in the mosque, and while they were in pain and suffering, we could not eat this, and we went down from the plateau to Kasrik.'' Here, the fact that Hazrat Gavs came knowing that we were waiting in the mosque and that Hazrat Seyda, knowing this situation, made us wait is a great miracle.
