OFFSHORE FISHING CAPE VERDE AFRICA

Here is the full offshore footage from fishing Cape Verde. This video shows me fishing over a 2 day time frame onboard ‪@BoavistaSampeifish‬ in Boa Vista, Cape Verde Africa. Heading offshore to test out some different fishing techniques from trolling to jigging. The first trip happened to be on my birthday (what an amazing way to spend your birthday!!) not long into our trip we knew it was going to be a good day by hitting straight into yellowfin tuna while trolling. When we wasn't trolling we would be jigging.. landing multiple amberjack.. which on light gear put up a fight! Around halfway through the day we started trolling.. and none of us could believe what happened next! A MARLIN HOOKUP.. most anglers dream fish! Not long after we stopped for lunch (after catching another tuna) and i decided to try it fresh.. but never trying tuna before i didn't know what to expect. It was delicious! Overall day 1 on the boat turned out epic. The following day was the next trip, same methods of fishing (trolling and jigging) catching bonito, amberjack & much more. Cape Verde is just non stop action, and my arms was absolutely burning haha. While on lunch i decided to chuck a popper out, and soon hooked into a mahi-mahi, another incredible fighting sportfish. (almost like a tarpon) and the colours are incredible! So if you want to hear reels scream, lots of BLEEPS & even more action.. give this a watch.
