CATCHING MONSTER FISH IN CAPE VERDE AFRICA. SHORE & OFFSHORE FISHING

Join my thrilling trip to Boa Vista, Cape Verde Africa! using different fishing techniques to catch bait fish such as blue runner and pompano (from the trevally family) too catching smaller species of shark including black tip reef sharks, and lemon sharks. The main target for this trip is huge shore caught sharks, one night we hit our target with an epic session on monster lemon sharks. Up to 2 metres in length (80-110kg) also being an angler into my offshore fishing i could resist giving that a try with 2 offshore deep sea trips booked. Trips involved different fishing styles from jigging - trolling. Soon as we started fishing we knew it was going be an amazing time. Hitting into the tuna straight away! Video also shows an clip that most fishing men/women dream off.. a marlin hook up! moments that we stopped for a jigging break its amberjack carnage. also some bonito show up to join in on the action. Mahi-mahi launching out the water once being hooked on a popper. eating freshly caught tuna seconds after being caught. While being mindful about sticking to the laws and regulations regarding fishing the Cape Verde islands. I suggest looking into it if you are thinking of fishing Cape Verde or anywhere overseas. And always handle the fish with care. All the sharks caught was catch and release only, all swimming off strong & healthy. Each island is slightly different so depending on your vibe, or the species of fish you'd like to catch that's worth looking into too. I have fished Boa Vista & Sal island. I also know a lot of guides on both the islands for shore & offshore fishing, would definitely recommend booking those. It adds extra safety for you & the fish while trying to land these monsters (not only that can help with fish identification, proper fish handling & help get you those amazing pictures or GoPro shots!)
