After four years driving across six continents, we've reached one of the biggest challenges of our journey. With nearly every route west from India closed, we're forced into what could be the biggest detour of our expedition—back through Nepal, across Tibet and China, before eventually continuing toward the Middle East. But first, we have to escape the mud in Ladakh, survive India's scorching highways, cross back into Nepal, reunite with family in Kathmandu, and prepare for a very special crossing into Tibet with our good friend and guide, Tsering.
