Sonare ソナーレ TOMOO — Journal With Witch 違国日記 Ikoku Nikki OP [Piano]. Advanced Cover—score available.

This is my short arrangement of Sonare, TOMOO’s delightful opening song from Ikoku Nikki ("Journal With Witch"), which I find really touching. The challenges for this were dealing with the fast (and often repeated) notes in the melody line, finding a full-but-restrained texture/sound for the chorus, and finally an accompaniment figure—shared between the hands— which included just the right amount of percussion. I wrote this in about 3 days, and really wanted to keep going and do the full song, but then realised this would have taken at least several more days with the ideas that I have! I hope I can revisit it soon and complete it, as I think this will be one of my favourites. Thanks for tuning in!
