Day 11 | Camino Portuguese | Spiritual Variant | Pontevedra to Combarro | March 28, 2024

We were so excited for day 11 as it's the start of the Spiritual Variant! The rain stayed with us again today, but the walk was very nice and it wasn't coming down too bad. If you planning on taking the Spiritual Variant, keep a lookout for the turn which is about 1.8 mile (3km) outside of Pontevedra. There is a big sign so you shouldn't miss it. We were wonderful surprised at the beautiful fishing village of Combarro! We weren't expecting it to be as lively as it was. We found out that it's a vacation spot for the Spaniards. We were happy we arrived with enough time to stroll along through the historic streets, explore and enjoy a meal and beverage at one of the waterfront restaurants. Today, we walked 6.7 miles (10.78 km) in 4 hours 16 minutes.
