Aqua Fitness Ball Warm Up / Workout - Hand sized ball
This workout is designed using a small hand sized ball (purchased from Decathlon, so easily accessible - Water discovery small ball) The ball, about 15 cm in diameter and will not easily slip out of your hands. The little knobbly bits on the ball help with the grip. This video routine can be used as the warm up or as part of the main workout itself. The ball is small enough to be held in a single hand to increase and create drag resistance, give a small amount of buoyancy resistance and challenge the muscles. Equally the ball being held with two hands gives a different challenge, focusing on the legs to do the work. This workout is filmed under the water, showing you what you should see your participants do in your class.
