"Filtered" | 20 Mins of Relaxing Generative Modular Ambient

After some more time away, I've finally sat back down with my modular for a while in the lovely spring sunshine. Here's the result! =D The patch is exploring something I'm surprised I haven't tried yet, all the outputs of SVF-1 are blended so the patch morphs between different filter types. It makes for some interesting sounds =D But headphones are definitely recommended for this one! Thanks so much for watching, hope you enjoy =D =D =D Patch Notes: Modules: Behringer CP1-a power supply Micro Ornament and Crime (Benisphere firmware) After Later Audio Baker (MI Peaks clone) After Later Audio Beehive (MI Plaits clone) ALM Tangle Quartet Tenderfoot Electronics SVF-1 filter Instruo Ochd After Later Audio uBurst (MI Clouds clone) ALM HPO (headphone out) O_C is running Clock Skip on one hemisphere and Scale Duet on the other. Clock skip is clocking Scale Duet and its second channel from the first output and channel 2 of Baker from the second output. With probabilities of 80% on each. Baker is running a random Tap LFO on channel one (so I can attenuate the output without a VCA) which is being quantised by Scale Duet (essentially to a major chord, root 3rd and 5th). The Quantised output is being sent to V/Oct on uBurst. The second channel is running an envelope, being triggered by the second Clock Skip output. The envelope modulates the density of uBurst to create occasional washes of grains, which creates the slight Arp from the pitch shifting. Beehive is just droning in Phase Distortion mode (orange 2), with modulation of the Timbre and Morph. The output of Beehive is patched to SVF-1, and all 4 outputs of SVF-1 (Low pass, Bandpass, Highpass and Notch) are patched back to a VCA on Tangle Quartet. LFOs from Ochd modulate Tangle Quartet, changing the mix of the different filter types over time. Ochd also modulates the cut-off of SVF-1 subtly. uBurst is in granular mode, with lots of reverb and a very small touch of feedback to cut down on the times the patch goes totally silent. Output through HPO to my audio interface. There's some EQ (to cut some of the excessive bass) and Limiting (for levels) but no other processing. #ambient #eurorack #generativemusic #modularsynth
