Here's a long-form piece with the S1 this time, taking advantage of the extra light at this time of year =D I was inspired to sit down with my Roland again for a while by the fantastic video by ‪@ElectroMagnetic_AmbientMusic‬ :    • Roland Aira S-1 can make Beautiful Ambient...   I wanted to record something that works for focus or relaxation, so tried to build a patch that doesn't vary too much, without ever completely repeating. Hope you enjoy! Thank you so much for watching! =D Patch Notes: A blend of Square, Triangle and Sub. The filter is set about halfway with modulation from the LFO (random waveform) and some from envelope as well plus a little resonance. The LFO rate is automated with the sequence slightly for a more complex waveform. Decay, Sustain and Release are maxed with Attack at about 2 o'clock. The sequence is a 12 step sequence of single notes each with a probability of around 30/40% Maxed reverb and Delay around 3 o'clock. Some slight EQ and stereo widening in the DAW but no other external effects. #ambient #ambientmusic #synth #synthmusic #roland #generativemusic
