Loggo East Mixed Farm Educational Tour 🌱🐄 We were honored to host guests from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security for an educational tour at Loggo East Mixed Farm. During the visit, guests were guided by Vet. Dr. Mushabe Essau, who explained different livestock management practices at the farm — including cattle feeding systems, the importance of different grass species, silage preparation, mechanized grass cutting, and maize processing used to improve milk production. He also emphasized the importance of adequate water intake for increasing milk yield. The tour also included a visit to the crop farming section, where John Baguma introduced various crops grown at the farm, including apples, green peppers, chili, cooking bananas, sweet bananas, cassava, and many others.
