Agroecology Full Documentary
This documentary highlights how Indigenous hunter-gatherer and pastoralist communities in Kenya are using agroecology to strengthen food systems, build climate resilience, and protect local knowledge and livelihoods in the face of climate change. Produced under the ''Research and Advocacy to Advance Food Systems Transformation among Indigenous Hunter-Gatherer and Pastoralist Communities in Kenya'' project, the documentary showcases practical agroecological practices, community success stories, and sustainable approaches to food production adapted to local environmental and socio-economic realities. Implemented by Ogiek Peoples’ Development Program (OPDP) and Indigenous Movement for Peace and Conflict Transformation with support from the Agroecology Fund, the project brings together Indigenous communities, researchers, policymakers, universities, agroecology practitioners, and community leaders to advance sustainable and inclusive food systems in Kenya.
