ザグレブ1日目 / 東欧5カ国周遊!ユーゴスラビア圏への旅!ブルガリア、セルビア、ボスニア、クロアチア、ハンガリーを巡る
I traveled by plane from Dubrovnik to Zagreb, Croatia. My day began with getting from the airport to the city center and confirming my accommodation. I took a bus from near the cable car station to the city center. The fare was 10 euros, and tickets could be purchased at the counter. There was no scheduled departure time; you just boarded the next bus that came along. However, it arrived a little late after leaving the main terminal, so it's best to allow plenty of time. For accommodation, I stayed at an apartment called Remi, booked through Agoda. It was a room in a housing complex, costing 55 euros per night. It was a very relaxing space and an ideal base in Zagreb. In the afternoon, I went to the Maksimir Stadium to watch a football match. The match was between NK Lokomotiva Zagreb and NHK Rijeka. Tickets were 20 euros for the main stand and 10 euros for behind the goal. I purchased my ticket in advance through a website linked from the team's official Instagram account, but tickets were also available at the stadium's ticket office on the day of the match. There seems to be a €2 service fee for online purchases. What surprised me upon entering the stadium was the small number of spectators. The Croatian league is dominated by Dinamo Zagreb, which boasts overwhelming popularity and a large budget; other clubs average around 1,000 to 2,000 spectators. Despite it being a top-of-the-table clash between the 4th and 5th placed teams, the environment was remarkably quiet, allowing the players' voices and the sound of the ball being kicked to be clearly heard. Stadium food included beer for €4-5 and hot dogs for around €4. The seating was notably elevated from the pitch, presumably for the safety of the supporters. The match was dominated by Rijeka from start to finish, ending 0-3. Rijeka's number 18 player, in particular, displayed exceptional speed and high-quality play. In the second half, Rijeka supporters even set off flares, creating a brief but memorable moment of intense cheering. After the match, since it was the halfway point of my trip, I splurged and moved to a private apartment costing about 10,000 yen per night. Because most shops in the city are closed on Sundays, I spent my time relaxing in the spacious, well-equipped room, cooking my own meals. It was a valuable day where I could experience Croatia's football culture and the peaceful daily life of Zagreb. #CroatiaTravel #Zagreb #FootballMatch #CroatianLeague #LokomotivaZagreb #Rijeka #StadiumFood #OverseasTravel #SoloTravel #FootballSoloTravel My day began in Zagreb, Croatia, with getting from the airport to the city center and confirming my accommodation.
