My First Marathon | Procam Slam | TMM 2026 Running my first-ever full marathon at the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026 πββοΈ In this video, I take you through my Procam Slam experience at TMM 2026 β from the nervous start line to the emotional finish line. The crowd, the energy of Mumbai, and the feeling of crossing that line for the first timeβ¦ unforgettable β€οΈ A Huge Wishlist Accomplished β Iβm a Marathoner now - 42.195 km πββοΈ Mumbai gave me the title π With all your love, blessings & support, this crazy dream came true. Grateful beyond words β€οΈ My First Marathon πββοΈ | Tata Mumbai Marathon β 42.195 km Started my first-ever Mumbai Marathon with a bang from CSMT (CST) / D.N. Road, right near the historic terminus. A total of 70,065 runners participated across all categories, with 14,000+ runners taking on the full marathon β the energy was unreal, felt like celebrities on the road. Passing Flora Fountain and the Kala Ghoda area, the city slowly woke up with us. Soon we hit Veer Nariman Road and Marine Drive (Queenβs Necklace) β flat, scenic, the Arabian Sea on one side and crowds on the other. Absolutely magical π₯ The route then pushed through Babulnath Marg and the Peddar Road / Kemps Corner area, and honestly, the first 10β12 km felt like hell. Tough roads, tough body, tough mindset. At Haji Ali Junction, the vibe changed again β prayers, people, and power. Then came the Coastal Road, a new addition to the route. The view was stunning, but the wind hits hard there. You want to slow down, walk, click pictures β but this is the Tata Mumbai Marathon, you can only do that while running π Moving ahead through Bindu Madhav Thackeray Chowk and Worli Sea Face, we made the first turn before heading onto the iconic BandraβWorli Sea Link. Running northbound on that elevated stretch over the sea was unreal β one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments. After Bandra Causeway and Mahim, with gentle climbs and city traffic vibes, we crossed the Mahim Church and Shivaji Park area, marking the mid-race zone. The cheering Mumbaikars kept pushing us forward β€οΈ Returning via the Coastal Road and Dr. Annie Besant Road, I settled into a slow & steady pace, soaking in the Mumbai street views, audience energy, and the ambience of the city. Passing near Siddhivinayak Mandir gave me a much-needed spiritual and mental boost π From the start, I was aiming for 5 hours 45 minutes, but then the real challenge hit β my old right knee injury got triggered. The pain forced me to slow down considerably. The goal changed β finish within the cut-off time and earn the title of a Marathoner. The final stretch through Peddar Road was a true test of grit. The climbs and elevation felt never-ending β every step a battle, every meter a fight with my own limits. Pedestrians cheering, the Mumbai streets buzzing, and the smell of the city all around β it gave me small bursts of energy. I talked to myself constantly: βOne more step. One more. Youβve come this far.β With every uphill push, my legs screamed, my knee protested, but my willpower carried me forward. Finally, after a grueling, uphill, mind-over-matter battle, I crossed the finish line at Mumbai Gymkhana (MG Road) in 6 hours 55 minutes. Am I happy with the timing? Absolutely NOT. I am not at all happy with this timing. But considering the immense pain and the climbs I conquered, Iβm proud I finished within the official cut-off time. Then came the reward β two medals π β’ Finisherβs Medal β’ Inspirational Medal Thatβs how my first marathon went. Grateful. Proud. Stronger than before.
