The approach today was absolutely breathtaking. Flying under beautiful, crystal-clear daylight skies over South Africa, the Aerosoft A340-600 handled like a dream. Powered by the NVIDIA RTX 5080 running MSFS 2024 on Ultra Settings, the transition from the descent to capturing the ILS for Runway 03L was pure simulation bliss. IniBuilds' handcrafted FAOR scenery looked spectacular on short final. With a 5-knot tailwind pushing the "Long Lady" from behind, I had to be extremely precise with my manual inputs on the WINCTRL hardware. TouchdownFX graded this as a solid "AIRLINER" landing: touching down at -234 fpm with a 1.23G impact. While my pitch angle (4.5°) and bank (2.0°) were perfectly dialed in, I did drift slightly to the right of the centerline by 5.2 meters while managing the touchdown speed of 146 knots. However, the real drama began after taxiing to the gate and shutting down the Trent 500 engines. For the second consecutive flight, I requested deboarding via GSX Pro, and once again, the passenger stairs simply refused to connect to our A340! The ground crew spawned, the request cleared, but the stairs wouldn't budge. Is this an aircraft profile conflict, a door state issue, or just typical GSX being unpredictable?
