TOPIC: CONNECTING STRENGTH THROUGH WAITING ON THE LORD. Scripture: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31. Thought for the Day: Strength is foundational to living effectively and fulfilling destiny. In life, exploits belong to the strong, especially those who know God (Daniel 11:32). And one of the greatest secrets of enduring strength is waiting on the Lord in prayer and fasting (Isaiah 40:31). ASSIGNMENT(S): 1. Reflect on how you spend your resources – time, money, and energy—are they eternity-focused? 2. Commit to doing at least one intentional act this week that advances God’s kingdom. PRAYER: Father, teach me to wait on You with patience, trust and unwavering devotion. In seasons of delay and silence, renew my strength and keep my heart steadfast on You, Lord in Jesus Name.
