Pontiac 400 Break in AGAIN! "Homemade Engine Run Stand" let's go!

Now that the 2023 PRI Show is over, let's get back to work on all these projects sitting around here! First up, time to break in the Pontiac 400 that "failed" it's engine break-in a couple weeks ago. On the initial attempt we had a flat tappet camshaft failure, eating almost an entire lobe off the comp cams camshaft, an 1/8th of an inch off a lifter, and absolutely destroying the bearings. Better luck next time right? So for this time we're approaching this a little differently and instead of installing the motor in the car then firing it up, Rich is going to build himself an "engine run stand" of sorts. This way if there's a bad leak or a failure we can quickly spot it and address it without the hassle of doing it in the chassis. Fingers cross though this flat tappet engine break-in goes according to plan!
