Your Presence, Your Beauty, My Surrender | Worship Set | 11.20.22

Guys this may be one of the rawest moments of worship you'll catch me in. My jank recording setup in my tiny room, my skin care just chillin in the background, my upside down stuffed animal, my bare face, and so much more. If I'm being honest, uploading these worship sets is so difficult for me because I get so insecure about how I look when I worship. I make so many weird faces, mess up on the piano, move my body in weird ways, get the worst angles of my face LOL. But, when I worship and get caught up, I can't deny that this is my raw worship. It's the purest form of my worship, and it's for Jesus. I'm praying that the Holy Spirit gives me the boldness to continue laying down my insecurities for the sake of being obedient to all God calls me to. I also pray that in denying myself and my own comfort/ way I want to present myself to others, the Lord would use these raw sets to minister to you who are watching and encourage you all to be free and undignified in your personal worship as well! Christ perfectly crafted you and you are the most beautiful in His eyes :) When you bring your personal worship to Him, it's beautiful. ANYWAYS... the heart behind this set. I found myself (currently in my life) getting caught up in the busyness and in my worries and not enough in the presence of God. The place where I need to be, the place of my peace, the place with my most important one, etc. This set came from a place of being hungry for the presence of God and just longing to be with Him, urging my heart to return to its rightful posture in His presence. But as I sought His presence, naturally, I was reminded of His beauty and magnificence. When I sit at His feet and look at Him, everything else fades away. Nothing else matters. All my anxieties, my doubts, my weaknesses, everything just stops as I sit in awe of His beauty. His holiness. His radiance and glory. Then when I see His face, I am automatically led to surrender. To want to give up everything just to be closer to Him and for Him to do whatever He wants to do in me. To give anything that's of worth for His Kingdom to come and His will to be done. I don't know very well how to explain it, but He is just the most important to me, the main thing. Every answer to every question and confusion is found here in His presence, the answer is Jesus. I'm always so humbled when I'm reminded that everything else in life is just extra pieces but that the center of everything, the most important is Jesus. My flesh is so quick to forget and everything starts to fall apart, why? Because I'm not in the presence of God, always. Just a word of encouragement. We are not perfect, nor are we meant to be. As humans, we're so forgetful, but the only place that will give us peace is in His presence. We can look for anything else and try to take control of everything, but at the end of the day, we'll all arrive at the same place. With the most important, the most loving, the most gracious, the most beautiful, because that's where we belong :) So take heart! Return to Him, He is all you need and all you are looking for.
