Ran Lahav has been a philosophical counselor and practitioner for the past 22 years in Israel and USA. He taught the first university course of philosophical counseling in the world at Haifa University, Israel, starting in 1992. He envisioned the First International Conference of Philosophical Practice, and co-organized it in 1994. He has worked with and published articles and books in the field.
