One month ahead of the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (August 15) — one of the great, joyful holy days of obligation in the Catholic Church — we offer this special ten-part hymn collection, a full meditation on Our Lady's earthly journey and heavenly glory. To capture the reverent, sacred atmosphere of a church interior, we set aside modern drum beats wherever possible, composing instead with grand piano, pipe organ, harp, warm woodwinds and a majestic brass ensemble, together with a grand SATB four-part choir in harmony with solo voices.
