Praised be Jesus Christ. Welcome to this space where we share God's grace. ✨ I had been struggling to fulfill my Sunday Mass obligation. A young priest heard my confession and gave me a warm penance: "The Lord listens more to how than to when — if Sunday doesn't work, take Wednesday or Thursday as your day off and pray as if it were your Sunday." Encouraged by his words, I finally worked up the courage to attend the Wednesday Mass at my new parish, Suyu 1-dong Church. But before Mass, when I asked the pastor for confession, he answered curtly, in a somewhat annoyed tone, telling me to wait over there — leaving me with a first impression of minus 100 points. Yet could even this have been the prelude to a reversal God had prepared? During the homily, the priest told a moving story about a bus driver and his son, followed by one weighty line that shook my heart to its core. "You are all worth the price of Jesus, who saved us through his death." A moment of deep emotion — from minus 100 points at first impression to plus 500 points of grace by the end of Mass!
