Matéria de Capa - Atlântida, o continente perdido
The seabed holds many secrets, in addition to mineral deposits and other economic resources valued at billions of dollars. For example, reserves of gold, copper and combustible gas. In the race to explore these resources, Brazilian and Japanese researchers have found evidence that reinforces the hypothesis of the existence of a continent that sank one hundred million years ago, when South America separated from Africa. In this edition of Cover Story, we will talk about both the economic exploitation of the seabed and the studies that may lead to new discoveries about the supposed lost continent.
