MD 2020 - Round 1

Here we go XD Story: Guoliang meets with Eric, Ariel and Melody in the courtyard after arriving and gives a gift to Melody as per tradition. He is then called to be shown his room where he finds his servant Yao who informs him that there will be a party later in the evening. At the party Guoliang stays mainly to himself. He greets Eric and they discuss him joining the competition after he informs him of his wife's death. He then catches up with his friend Garrett where they discuss their competition. The next day Guoliang is relaxing in the library and playing a traditional game from his kingdom when Roland comes in and spots him. Roland having read about the game in books asks the Emperor if he can play. He ends up impressing Guoliang with his intelligence even though Roland loses the game. They are interrupted by Grimsby who comes and tells Guoliang that Ariel and Eric are waiting to talk to him.
