I studied while doing multiple student jobs to make ends meet. I built my career here at one of Germany's largest companies, learned the language, made Stuttgart my home, and this year went through the Einbürgerung process to become a German citizen. This video is the honest, emotional version of that journey — not just the paperwork but what it actually felt like. 📋 A LITTLE ABOUT THE EINBÜRGERUNG PROCESS: The German naturalisation process (Einbürgerung) requires several years of legal residence in Germany, proof of income, a clean criminal record, and a German language certificate at B1 level or above. In 2024 Germany updated its citizenship law to allow dual nationality in many cases — a significant change for people considering naturalisation.
