Aphasia Exercise | Speak the Vowels in Rhythm |

Several stroke survivors I work with have a challenge getting their articulators to work well when they are ready to talk. Sometimes their speech therapists ask them to practice saying the vowels🗣️ 👍. In this exercise, we try to speak the vowels in rhythm, which studies show can help words flow better. Moving your arm from one side of your body to the other builds neural connection, studies also show. Follow along as I lead you through this combination! PRINTER FRIENDLY VERSION OF THIS EXERCISE: https://beyondhighc.com/15-2/ 🧡 👂 I’d love to hear from you. 🎉 You can join me in one live class free.
