An 1890s late Victorian blouse. Finishing abandoned projects 1
Hello there, Some time ago I started working on a late Victorian blouse. I had chosen the wrong fabric for the project, it felt too thick and stiff, so the task seemed too daunting and I gave it up. But then I didn't like the idea of wasting fabric. It is such a lovely colour, and matches the style of the blouse very well. To be honest, I got really tired of making the blouse, my stitching got slower and slower. I don't know what kept me going on. The whole process was a series of mistakes, though I did learnt from them. Now that I'm ready with the blouse, it is my absolute favourite garment. It is very comfortable and the fabric turned out to be surprisingly nice on the skin. I wasn't trying to take off at the end of the video, I was testing my level of comfort. 10/10.
