The "Swiss Alps" Hidden Deep Inside Japan: Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route

Did you know that there's a hidden "Switzerland" buried deep inside the mountains of Japan? Just like the Swiss Alps! Today we are going to conquer the world-famous Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route in the Northern Japanese Alps during its peak season. For us to conquer this journey, we will have to go through 7 different modes of unique transportation which includes underground cable cars, tunnel trolleybuses and a massive single-span ropeway with breathtaking views of the alps. The journey that we went through from Murudo, the "Swiss Alps" of Japan and the Yuki no Otani Snow Wall with an impressive height of 12 meters to Japan's tallest dam, the Kurobe Dam was indeed an unforgettable experience!
