Summit Mall Stone, Darjeeling - We booked our accommodation in this hotel which is located near Mall Road of Darjeeling. This hotel is near to Glenary’s bakery & Mahakaal Restaurant. It is new Hotel Tariff - Rs 2744 for double occupancy. Hope you enjoyed the video. Chowrasta (Mall Road) - We started our day by visiting the Mall road of darjeeling & its surrounding. Glenary’s Bakery - This is one of the famous restaurant of darjeeling, we had our breakfast, Fried eggs with grilled tomatoes - Rs 190 & Darjeeling tea small pot - Rs 142. This bakery is famous for its fresh bread & cakes related items. When we went it was morning time, we could not taste it as it was not ready at that time. St. Andrews Church - Then we proceeded towards the Zoo & HMI while looking at the Heritage buildings. Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute - The entry gates are the same, entry ticket - Rs 110 per person. Zoo Timings - 8:30 to 4:30 in summer & Winter 8:30 to 4:00 Closed on Thursdays HMI Timings - 9 am to 1pm & 2pm to 4pm Closed on Tuesdays If anyone want to pursue the Mountaineering course, can check their website - https://hmidarjeeling.com/ Entry Fee - Rs 110 Kunga Restaurant - We had our lunch at this Tibetan Restaurant, in their menu, mostly non-veg food delicacies, less veg food Mushroom Fing - Rs 250. We waited almost an hour outside to get inside this very busy restaurant, near Keventers at mall road. Parking is a big problem in Darjeeling, please look for hotels which offer parking, if your preference is at mall road. Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre - There is gallery, where we saw many old pictures of the Tibetan Refugee, then we visited the shop where Handicrafts like shawls, carpets and other souvenir tourist can buy. We had purchased the Shawls - Rs 400 from the shop.
