This is a short tour of the North side of west bengal we have planned from Sittong, Kurseong, Mirik, Darjeeling to Kalimpong via Takdah. We have hired a taxi from Bagdogra Drive name - Pramod ji - 9002677771 Bagdogra Airport to Sittong - 60 km Siliguri Bus stand - We just wanted to see the Bus & shared Taxi charges. Siliguri to Darjeeling - Rs 105 per person (Travel Time - 3 to 3.5 hours) you will find the bus in every half an hour. Share taxi charges from Siliguri to Darjeeling - Rs 250 To Gangtok (Sikkim) - Rs 450 Just near to Siliguri Bus stand there is also a Bus stand for sikkim. Siliguri to Gangtok - 115 km - semi deluxe bus - Rs 275 Deluxe Bus - Rs 500 Share Taxi - Siliguri to Gangtok - Rs 500 Chaasum Restaurant - We had lunch at this restaurant and ordered the veg thali - Rs 350 at Sevoke. Sevoke - we saw under construction Rail tunnel which will connect Sevoke to Rangpo (Sikkim) Coronation Bridge - We took a halt at this bridge, built in 1941 on the Teesta river. We proceeded to Sittong Yang Cottage - We stayed at Yang Cottage & Restaurant in Sittong, we had paid Rs 1800 per person which includes the Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
