In the Three Hunters story from Lord of the Rings, The Two Towers, Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli pursue the Uruk-Hai through Middle Earth, covering 45 leagues (215km) in 72 hours. We wanted to see if this was humanly possible to do, so we set off through Wales at the end of February aiming to take this challenge on completely self-supported.
