I set out to make a simple wooden spatula in under an hour — something to replace the plastic utensils in our kitchen and bring a little more intention to the things we use every day. The build went smoothly… until the very end when I dropped it right after oiling it and chipped the corner. Not ideal, but it’s part of the process — and it’s still a tool we’ll use every day.
