Lower Ripley Creek Dam Removal in the Battle Creek Watershed
The Lower Ripley Creek Dam was part of PG&E's Battle Creek Hydroelectric Project. This is the first of three dams being removed this summer from the South Fork drainage in Battle Creek. None of the dams and associated ditches have been used in years and do not generate electricity. Thank you to PG&E, Bureau of Reclamation, Forgen and Outback for a job well done!
