The chosen bullpup configuration allowed for a 40 cm barrel while significantly reducing the overall length of the weapon. To address the common weakness of bullpups for left-handed shooters—side ejection of spent casings—the F2000 adopts a forward ejection system: a tunnel guides the casings away from the shooter's face, facilitating shoulder changes. The design also incorporates an ambidextrous charging handle, a reversible fire selector, and a progressive trigger pull, enhancing its multi-purpose ergonomics. From its release, the F2000 comes with an integrated low-magnification optic (~1.6×), a feature that underscores its focus on versatile operational use. It has also gained visibility through popular culture—films and video games—which have widely popularized its silhouette. Operationally, the F2000 has seen limited but notable successes: adoption by Slovenia (the F2000S version, recognizable by its carrying handle, adopted in 2006) and occasional acquisitions by certain special forces units in Saudi Arabia, India, and Pakistan. Note the FS2000, a semi-automatic version intended for the civilian market. Video filmed professionally in a safe location
