The goal is not to replace the venerable Minimi, but to offer an automatic weapon that more closely resembles the weight of a conventional assault rifle. In its 5.56 mm version, the Evolys weighs just over 5 kg, nearly 30% less than the Minimi. The weapon is also optimized for optics mounting thanks to a monolithic rail located on the top, while the ammunition is fed via a side cover. It was also designed for use with a suppressor. In terms of firing, it offers a semi-automatic mode as well as an automatic mode with a rate of fire of approximately 750 rounds per minute, regulated by a hydraulic shock absorber. The Evolys is currently available in two versions: one in 5.56×45 mm and the other in 7.62×51 mm. Video filmed professionally in a safe location
