FPGA Motion Security System | Basys 3 + Pmod PIR + VGA + AMP2 Siren

In this project, we build a complete FPGA Motion Security System using the Digilent Basys 3 FPGA development board, the Digilent Pmod PIR motion sensor, the Pmod AMP2 audio amplifier, and a VGA monitor using SystemVerilog HDL. Unlike a simple motion detector, this project combines multiple digital design concepts into one integrated system. A finite state machine controls the operating sequence, the VGA interface displays the current system status in real time, and the FPGA synthesizes all of the alarm sounds directly in hardware.
