There has been a depot at this point in Hagenow Land since 1846. The locomotive station opened by the Berlin-Hamburg Railway Company was later taken over by the Prussian State Railway. The Hagenow Land depot actually consists of two parts. The Reichsbahn-Bw from 1928, which today belongs to the railway companies D & D, as well as the much older Prussian Bw, which is a little further to the west. Until the reunification period, the Reichsbahn used the old Depot as a car repair shop. Abbreviated W.A.S. Today there are almost only ruins on the former premises.
