Kanazawa-Bunko is a station with a train depot, and many trains terminate there late at night and originate there early in the morning. Many trains enter and leave the depot to finish or begin their operations, but some trains stay on the platform overnight. Keikyu trains can accommodate up to 12 cars, and Kanazawa-Bunko has a platform long enough for 12 cars, but you can also see two 6-car trains parked there. However, Keikyu's 6-car trains cannot be coupled together in principle. Therefore, a special parking method is used at this station every night.
