Welcome to the first episode of my new series dedicated to the great gliders of the Pyrenees: The Shadow of the Vulture. After weeks of scouting and meticulous preparation, I finally set off. The goal? To capture the majestic flight of griffon vultures at sunrise. Accompanied by my friend Patrick, we head out for a bivouac in a mountain hut, laden with 18 kg of photo and video equipment. But in the mountains, nothing ever goes as planned. Between fatigue, unexpected health issues, and the harsh terrain, this first encounter takes an unexpected turn.
