Sometimes leaving a place shows you what you have. After spending an incredible month exploring the Philippines, visiting beautiful places like Dipolog, Dumaguete, and the stunning island of Siquijor, it's finally time to return home to Thailand. Travel has a funny way of teaching us what really matters. Sometimes you need to leave home to truly appreciate everything you have. While the Philippines offered breathtaking scenery, warm and welcoming people, and some unforgettable experiences, my journey also confirmed something I had been feeling for a long time... *Thailand is home.* Returning to Rayong reminded me why I chose to build my life here. With its beautiful beaches, relaxed lifestyle, affordable cost of living, excellent healthcare, friendly locals, fantastic food, and easy access to some of Thailand's most beautiful islands, Rayong continues to be one of the country's hidden gems for retirees, expats, and anyone looking for a better quality of life. In this video, I share my thoughts after comparing two wonderful countries, why I believe Thailand still offers me the lifestyle I'm looking for, and why my next chapter begins right here.
