We had planned to stay the night at Kitoushi Campground after lunch at the Salmon Guard House in Kushiro, but due to a dense fog warning we headed to the National Nukabira Campground above Obihiro. We visited the hot spring town of Nukabira Hot Springs, the Taushubetsu River Bridge, and our first bonfire since coming to Hokkaido. And then there was Nakamuraya's mixed-gender hot springs. The 3-cylinder engine has plenty of torque, smooth acceleration, and is easy to ride. The bike is equipped with Tanax Motofizz Camping Seat Bag 2 and Camp Shell Base. The soft-shell side bags are no-brand items purchased from Amazon. [DOD Riders One-Pole Tent] Compact and lightweight. A tent for touring camping. The canopy can be extended, eliminating the need for a tarp. [Captain Stag Mat] A fairly standard mat, inexpensive, and easy to take down. [Husqvarna 38cm Hatchet] The size, silhouette, and grip are perfect. It's sharp enough for splitting firewood. It can also be used as a peg hammer. [Snow Peak Solid Stake] Cast iron pegs.
