Dungeon Meshi - Advanced Authors & Audiences

Hey, so... bit of a different one. I've been receiving lots of replies to the original Dungeon Meshi video telling me I am wrong because the Ryoko Kui recently said in an interview that Laios is normal, which isn't really an argument so much as a... well, I dunno. Seems like it's skipping thinking about the video and instead pointing out that I author thinks I'm wrong. So I did some digging, and I've come to a different conclusion than they did on what Kui said. This video is meant to defend my original position in Spelunking Across the Spectrum as still valid, even if the author disagrees. I explore this from a couple angles, from analyzing what she's saying, re-litigating my position inside her terms, to explaining what Death of the Author is (no, it's not a threat to Kui). I am certain when the second season of Dungeon Meshi comes out, I will be making a video about it, so if you want some more responses to more constructed criticisms of that video, please wait (amount of time) for those responses, because there are valid criticisms!
