Though said to be popular with troops, the vehicles saw limited use, and in 1962 one Comet’s turret was irreparably damaged in a fire. Instead of scrapping the remaining functional parts of the vehicle, Cavalry Corps engineers developed a plan to mount a Bofors 90mm recoilless rifle to the tank’s turret ring. It may not have a turret, but with a fast-firing 90mm gun (with 380mm of penetration!) mounted directly to its turret ring, the Headless Coachman still packs plenty of damage potential. In fact, you can use the lack of a turret to your advantage! The 15 degrees of depression on its gun allow you to hide the Headless Coachman’s hull behind hills and other forms of cover, exposing mostly the rifle and keeping you protected. Position yourself as a stealthy, low-armored sniper for your team, and you won’t need to rely on luck to win. What you’re getting with the Headless Coachman: Low profile High-penetration gun with a quick rate of fire Excellent gun depression Inspired by Irish military history, the Headless Coachman arrives to do battle in Era 1. Check out this new tank destroyer and other themed bundles, and see what the Luck of the Irish Challenge brings you! Celebrated annually on March 17, St. Patrick’s Day is a day when the culture and traditions of Ireland, the Emerald Isle, get the chance to shine much like the legendary pot o’ gold at the end of the rainbow. This year, we’re celebrating the holiday with an Earn Challenge, a unique new Cold War vehicle, and more. HooaH! #worldoftanks #worldoftanksconsole #worldoftanksmodernarmor #wotc #wotma #wotcma
