Reiter For centuries across Europe, the knight was a presence often respected, often feared, who entered battle on behalf of a sovereign or as part of a religious order. Many knights were trained from young ages to master several weapons that they could wield while facing an enemy up close: broadswords, flails, falchions, and so on. They rode to battle on horseback; they fought with confidence, bolstered by their armor and their belief in whatever code they were sworn to uphold. Though it is no steed, this vehicle honors the knights’ traditions and ways. Inspired by the resilience of a knight’s armor, the Reiter is purpose‑built for frontline dominance. A reinforced stop‑rib guards the front hull, a spaced‑armor “chest plate” strengthens the upper glacis, and battering rams stand ready should you choose to joust with the opposition. Among Era 1 tanks, the Reiter ranks among the most heavily armored, confidently deflecting enemy fire and holding the line where others fall. Of course, no knight is complete without a lance. The Reiter’s cannon delivers high penetration, formidable damage, and excellent accuracy—everything you need to strike decisively and send your foes retreating back to the stables. Hatamoto Though the concept of the samurai has its roots in the existence of warriors who served Japanese nobles during the eighth and ninth centuries, the samurai as modern society knows it came to be during the late twelfth century, when the Minamoto clan instituted a military-based system of feudal governance. In this system, warriors-known for their skill in battle and refined use of weaponry-became governors and stewards, responsible for administering and even developing the law. This vehicle pays tribute to the image of the samurai and the power and mastery for which this class of warriors is known. This elite samurai warrior is equipped with a quick-firing 105mm primary gun with a secondary 2-round roof-mounted ATGM launcher, making the Hatamoto a high-damage attacker. It's armored with ERA shingles, providing good protection against HE, HEAT, or ATGM-type rounds. Use drive mode to get into position quickly, then switch to siege mode for precision aiming.
