8m² Room - I Finally Found a Job After 2 Months of Struggling | Real Life in Vietnam 🇻🇳

Hello everyone... wishing you all a wonderful day. I'm Xuki, a 32-year-old mother of two. My family of four is currently living in a tiny 8m² room in Hanoi, Vietnam. Today started with a heavy heart. With only 200,000 VND (about $8) left in my pocket and completely out of rice, I rushed to the early wet market at 5:30 AM to buy the freshest and cheapest food before my husband and kids woke up. Being unemployed for nearly two months has been incredibly stressful. The overdue tuition fees and utility bills were piling up, weighing heavily on my shoulders. But today, a miracle happened! I went for an interview at a children's clothing shop and finally got a part-time job! The relief I felt was indescribable. To celebrate this milestone, I cooked a very traditional Vietnamese dinner: tofu with minced pork and Dracontomelon soup (Canh Sấu). This 8-square-meter room might be small and cramped, but tonight, it is full of laughter, full bellies, and hope for a better tomorrow.
