Pesta Nukenen Bario 2022 The official video for the 15th Bario Food & Cultural Festival 2022 is here! Thanks to everyone who made it possible after a 2 years hiatus because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Bario Food & Cultural Festival (Pesta Nukenen) is a traditional Kelabit food and cultural festival that celebrates Kelabit cuisine and cultural arts and games. It's the one festival where you can expect all sorts of rare treats, all in one place, over 3 days. Jungle food from grubs to wild meat, edible flowers to bario rice, and games once played everyday, to games reserved only for special ceremonies. It is a yearly event and we welcome everyone who wishes to join us, and experience the best time for an immersion of gastronomic and experiential treats from the Kelabits.
